Sherry and others interested in pickled ginger. In the recipe archives
under 'Condiments/General Condiments&Basics' there are two recipes for
pickled ginger. The first one, posted by Andrew Evans is a recipe for
Japanese Rosy Pickled Ginger (Gari) (Originally from the "Washington Post"
Food Section) and claims to turn the ginger pink. I haven't tried it yet,
but hope to give it a go this weekend.
