Ports

I live in Washington State (near Seattle) and find that about half the
grocery stores carry Portabellos and half don't. Even in places that carry
them, many times the clerks are don't seem to know what they are. I am
usually paying an exorbitant price for them--$6.99/lb--each one usually
costs a little over two bucks! I did see them once for $3.99/lb. We have a
produce store that always carries a big barrel of Portabellos in all sizes.
Since they specialize in produce and have pretty great prices overall, they
have a high turnover, and so everything seems fresher, even the Ports.
