I'm trying to come up with a recipe similar to, but healthier than,
Rice Krispies treats. Something with crisped brown rice (I'm assuming
I can buy some kind of cereal like this at my local health food
store), oats and dried fruit. Anyway:
1) Does anyone have a recipe like this already?
2) For the recipe I'm trying to devise, can anyone suggest a
replacement for marshmallow fluff to bind the whole thing? I was
thinking honey, but I'd rather use something a little less sticky and
not as sweet.
If I come up with something good, I'll post it to the group.
