IMHO, the simplest way is to add fresh hot peppers. Jalepenos are nice,
habaneros or scotch bonnets are nicer. I think the best are the small hot
peppers in oriental groceries that are usually are just called Thai peppers.
Remove the seeds and placenta (Thai peppers are too small for this), chop and
add to a stir "fry" in the beginning along with the garlic and ginger. You also
