Dear Jenka,
I use a soft brush, saved just for this purpose. Ours is a nail brush
(you know, the type used to clean finger nails) because it is easy to
hold and one can readily adjust the pressure to suit the amount of dirt
on the potato.
I will be using this method today, as it is cooking marathon day and one
of the items I am making is potato corn chowder!
