"Eater's Choice" by Ron and Nancy Goor has a section about children and
fat/cholesterol that might be useful. This non-vegetarian, but good
transitional book has clear information about fat and cholesterol in
general. As for kids, as they get older and eat away from home-at other
homes and elsewhere, the SAD is so outrageously fat-"heavy" that they
will be fine (i.e in no danger of being fat deprived.). I just try to
balance their nutrition with fabulous FF recipes, gentle education
notwithstanding.:) Really appreciate the feedback on how families/kids
(0-18) respond to recipes.
