Me again (sorry, I haven't posted in soooo long, I really miss it ;-)
Bev mentioned in digest 171 or 172 (I think) that she doesn't use
salad dressing any more because the shop-bought ff ones all contain
oil. Here's a dressing that I make often and love. It keeps well in
the fridge for up to a week (think the vinegar helps).
*French Dressing*

This is really best with freshly-squeezed lemon juice rather than
the bottled stuff.
Makes 3 tbsp
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp white wine vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp made-up mild mustard
freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Put it all in a screw-top jar and shake well. Keep it in the fridge
and shake before serving.

I have to laugh as I write this. My husband has just announced that
he's gone on a diet. But he has also just pulled a four-pack of beer
out of the shopping bags...he says this is fine for his diet. When I
took a closer look at the can I saw that the brand name was...Diat!!!
