I didn't receive #104, Sunday fatfree digest. If anyone could forward it to
me, I'd really appreciate it. It seems there were some transmittal problems
over the week end.
I made a tasty bean-potato crock pot dish the other day.
Soaked pinto beans overnight, discarded water and placed in the crock pot and
added vegie broth. Cooked on high about 1 1/2 hours. Added 3 potatoes cut
in chunks, one onion chopped and a can of spicy stewed tomatoes mashed up a
bit, various seasonings. Cooked on low another 4 hours or so. Made more of a
stew than soup, and we enjoyed ti.
