I may be wrong but possibly in vol. 11 someone (sorry I erased) posted:

1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup real maple syrup

I tried a variation of this using what I hade at home, light pancake syrup
and honey with the oats and some salt. Wow!! After it was cooked, I poured
into an airtight container and sprinked some cinnamon and a couple of
tablespoons of coconut and shook it up. I let it sit for an hour or so and
tried some with milk. Well, it tastes just like that boxed stuff but better
because you make it yourself. Who would have thought that granola was so
easy and could be made virtually fat free. Thanks for all the great recipes
