In discussing McDougal's MWLP, Karen said:

I'm really thirsty, but my mind doesn't recognize that connection well yet."
I've heard that thirst can be mistaken for hunger. This is probably
likely, because many people don't drink nearly enough water (eight 8-oz.
glasses for a nonstrenuous lifestyle).
