While I was in a vegetarian cooking class, one of the other students.
told me a way to produce consistently good brown rice.
Using a rice cooker, cook the rice until the bell goes off.
Turn the cooker off, add water to cover the cooked rice, put the
lid back on and turn the cooker on, just like you're starting over.
Next time the bell goes off, it's done--fluffy and moist brown rice..
Works for me.
