Cooking grains

To Dorothy: When I cook rice in my rice cooker, I use 2 1/2 cups water per 1
cup of rice. For other grains that are large kernel like kamut, barley,
whole rye I use 3 cups water to 1 cup grain. You may have to experiment as
your cooker may be different. Soaking the grains over night may also cut the
cooking time and perhaps the amount of water needed.
