If you follow my instructions for oat bran, you'll wind up with a cup
of water plus three tablespoons of water. How you would heap that is
beyond my comprehension.
I did mean, of course, oat bran.
If you have a deep enough teflon frying pan, you might try cooking it
up in the pan. It cleans up a lot more quickly than stainless steel
pots.
