We have three loquat trees that are filled with clusters of ripening
yellow fruit the size and shape
of small plums. I believe these are edible, but does anyone know when is
the best time to pick them?
Any suggestions for preparing them?
The trees were planted four years ago and this is the first time we have
had any fruit. We
live in south central Texas -- if you're wondering how there can be
ripe fruit in early April!
