My favorite oatmeal recipe for one serving.
Use heaping tablespoons of:
2 tbs regular rolled oats
1 tbs oat bran
1 tbs wheat bran
1 tbs wheat germ
1 tbs raisins (optional)
1/2 cup cold water (actually I don't measure but merely add enough water so
mix is barely swimming in water)
Place in microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2
minutes depending on the machine.
Cereal comes out thick but not lumpy, add soy milk to get consistency you
desire, top with sliced fresh fruit - my favorite is banana.
