I'm looking for a soup recipe that I can make for Xmas or New Year's
(depending on which one I'm asked to do), for our local soup kitchen. I'll
need to make enough to feed 100 people. In two out of the past three years,
I made carrot-ginger soup (a big winner for me), but my trusty "assistants"
in our household rebelled this year at the prospect of once again peeling
mounds of carrots (and onions, if I remember correctly).
Sooo, I'm looking for a new, less labor-intensive recipe - perhaps a
minestrone or black bean soup or similar - must be filling (and, of course,
tasty).
