Re: keeping ginger

One of the best tips I ever found on the net was to freeze ginger.  It
keeps that way forever.  When you need some just pop it out, scrape he
skin off the end that you intend to use, grate and pop the rest back into 
the freezer.  It seems to be easier to grate that way too.
