sourdough starter

thanks to everyone who helped with my questions on sourdough, the web
site was particularly interesting.  what I really need to know is can
sourdough starter be purchased.  I'm really not interested in making my
own.  Would it be in the bread section of baking and is it simply called
sourdough starter?
