I was interested in the Baked Carrots, Turnips and Rutabagas recipe posted
recently. One question: what's the difference between a turnip and a
rutagaga?
I have used a hard roundish vegetable, sort of orange and purple and waxed
on the outside with orangish flesh. I've always called it a turnip, but
thought people in other parts of the country called it a rutabaga. Which is
it? and what does the other one look/taste like?
Thanks.
