I really like rice mixes like Mahatma's Saffron Rice and Quigg's Golden
Paella Rice, but because I'm following McDougall's MWLP, I'm not to
have white rice--only brown. So, I'm looking for a recipe for the
spices I could cook in with my brown rice to taste like these rice
mixes. I think they have dried vegetable powders in them (like sweet
red pepper, celery, etc.), as well as garlic, onion, turmeric, and
saffron. Any powders for sale out there, perhaps, that you know of?
