You are looking for a rice pudding recipe. This is an easy vlf recipe (from
: Je mange avec la nature, Colombe Plante). I liked it very much.
250 ml (1 cup) basmati rice uncooked
l litre (4 cups) of skimmed milk (or low fat soya milk)
85 ml (1/3 cup) of honey or raw sugar (more or less to taste)
65 ml (1É4 cup) sultana raisins (rinsed under water)
5 ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla
cinammon
Boil together rice, milk, honey (or sugar) and raisins. Simmer on very low
heat until smooth and creamy, about 20 minutes.
Add vanilla, then pour in an ungreased square plate (8" X 8") and spinkle
cinammon on top.
Serve as is or, if too thick, add more milk and warm up.
Can be eaten alone or with applesauce.
