I am glad that you liked the salt cake and dough ideas! I like your
filling idea as well.
I made my own uh, vegetable soup I guess the other day for lunch (though it
makes up a large amount) and it turned out rather well. . . I thought I
would share it:
Ingredients:
- 1 can FF vegetable broth (or use chicken broth or beef if fixing for
non-vegetarians)
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can corn
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 1 cup chopped broccoli
- 2 slices FF sharp cheese
- oregano to taste
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- flour/water thickener
What ya' do:
Boil carrots and broccoli until tender; drain. Over medium heat in
med-large pot, combine chicken broth, carrots, broccoli, green beans, corn,
pinto beans, and onion. Break cheese slices into pieces; drop into soup
and stir until melted through. Mix flour/water for thickener (I used
1/4-1/3 cup of flour with 1/3 cup water or so) and stir into soup. (Use
more thickener if you like it even thicker--I like mine pretty thick.)
Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper. Serve. Sprinkle with FF Parmasean
cheese or try stirring in some FF "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"
spray--it adds a neat flavor!
