You should have no trouble finding matzo meal where you live. It's used in
Jewish cooking, and is really nothing more than ground up crackers. I
would suggest grinding some salt-free crackers, melba toast, or rusks in a
food processor for a substitute if you can't find it. Alternatively bread
crumbs would do, although they are a bit finer in texture.
