This is not exactly biscuits, but it is close and we like it a lot. Hope it
helps. To speed things up in the morning,you can prepare all the dried
ingredients and measure out the fruits the night before.

Scones
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon (roundedO baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon sucanat (or sugar or any swetner)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon (I like more)
1 1/4 cup soy or rice milk (non fat)
1 cup currents or raisins
1/2 cup dried fruit, finely minced (pineapple, apricots, etc.)
1 tablespoon orange or lemon zest
Place dry ingredients in a bowl
add liquid, raisins and dried fruits to center of dry ingredients.
Carefully fold from center to the outside until all ingredients are
combined. Do not over stsir.
Drop by tablespoons onto a nonstick, lightly oiled baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, until golden.
