Forget the snow peas! Eat the wonderful tips of the plant!
Cut off the top 4-5" (including any of the little tendrils
and leaves). Saute huge handfuls in a little water seasoned
with veggie soup base. I've had this in Chinese restaurants
and boy is it good. I much prefer this to the peas themselves
now. You can sometimes find the tips in Asian markets -
beware, don't get the snow pea sprouts, make sure that
you get the tops of the vine.
