Rather than feel like a total dolt, I wanted to say that I didn't find
Jayne's idea strange at all - it makes a lot of sense - but unfortunately it
wouldn't help me. If you remember (or even if you don't) I washed SEVERAL
times, after having used gloves while handling the peppers. I was quite
thorough. The oil remained on my hands through the next day. That was why I
sent the warning. If it soaked so deeply into my skin, I wanted to warn
others that it could happen to them. Wear sturdy gloves and wash, wash,
wash.
