Chelsea,
I have read that in order to absorb the iron in foods, including a rich
source of vitamin C is helpful. So, squeeze some fresh lemon juice on
steamed kale or broccoli, add tomatoes to your lentils. More rich sources
of iron include dried apricots, currents, and yummy molasses.
