I recently found "wasabi green peas" in the produce/snack section at my
supermarket. They have a sort of peanut like consistency, very little fat,
but they are much too spicy for me. From reading the package, I have
concluded that the mustard powder, added to give the "wasabi" flavor, is what
I object to. Does anyone know of a type of dried or roasted green pea (or
any other method that produces a crunchy snack pea) that would have a
different, less spicy, flavor? Or is there a way to make these myself from
frozen green peas?
