Shortening and Cookies

Ashley...you get multiple stars for your cookie recipes.
Thanks, I can't wait to try them.  The biggest problem with
the nutrition pyramid is that it doesn't show chocolate as
the food group it deserves.

On the oil/shortening replacement dilemma.  Oil and
shortening do one thing that is the same, adds moisture.
When it comes to things like pie crusts, well, you're up an
unsanitary canal without a means of propulsion.  At least
I've never found a satisfactory substitute.
