Hi Ruth! You might want to try this one-it's very forgiving and very
quick and easy plus it's real good! bk
Quick 3 bean Chili
1 med-large onion diced
1 med-large green perpper, diced
1 14 1/2 oz can stewed tomatoes or the equivanlent am't of fresh
tomatoes, diced
1 can black beans, rinsed well & drained
1 can red kidney beans, rinsed well & drained
1 can small red or white beans, rinsed well & drained
2 tsp sugar
4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp each, garlic powder, cumin, oregano
black perrer and cayenne pepper to taste.
Soften the onion and green pepper in a tiny am't of water. Add all the
ingredients and mix well. Simmer for 10-15 mins. and serve over rice
with ff grated cheddar or jack cheese and enjoy!
Everything can be changed and the amt's varied according to what your
taste preference is.
