Does anybody know what the deal is with combining
beans and grains. I have read a lot from various
protein diet gurus that if you eat beans (lentils,
chickpeas, kidney etc) with complex carbs like rice,
bread, couscous then these 2 normal carbs are absorbed
by your body as a protein. Then others like Barry
Sears, just counts the 2 as carbs and doesn't mention
eating the 2 together. Can anyone enlighten me?
