My husband, Paul Winslow-Hansen, devised the following recipe. We use a
Black and Decker breadmaker.
9-Grain Bread
1 1/3 cups skim milk
3 T. honey
2.5-3 T. orange juice concentrate
1 1/2 t. salt
1 cup white flour
1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup 9-Grain cereal (we use Roger's, a brand locally available in B.C.)
3 t. yeast
Mix in the order recommended by your breadmaker. I know most breadmakers
only require 1.5 t. yeast, but ours calls for 3 t. yeast.
The following recipes are my adaptations from the cookbook that came
with the machine.
