This is from the book "The Best Low-Fat, No-Sugar Bread Machine Cookbook
Ever" by Madge Rosenberg. I've tried many of the recipes & have a few
favorites.
One Hundred Percent Whole Wheat Bread
(Makes 1 1/2 pound loaf)
2 1/4 tsp dry yeast
3 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp nonfat powdered milk
1 Tbsp vital wheat gluten
3 Tbsp grated orange zest
3/4 tsp salt
3 Tbsp minced prunes (I use Lighter Bake)
1 1/4 cups water
Add ingredients according to your machine specs & process using whole
wheat cycle.
Per 1 ounce serving: 73 calories; 0.4 g fat; 0.1 mg cholesterol; 5% CFF
