Spelt Bread
3-5 Cups Spelt flour
1 pkg of yeast
1 1/4 C warm water
1 tsp salt
Mix 3 C flour with yeast. Add salt to warm water. Add water mixture to flour
and mix. Knead for 5-7 minutes, adding flour until dough no longer sticks to
your fingers. (I might add an extra cup, or a little under.) Shape into loaf
and place in loaf pan. Let rise in 100 deg oven for 30 min or until doubled.
Preheat over to 350 deg. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes. (The recipe recommends to
oil the top to prevent it from getting hard. I don't have a good non-fat
solution to this)
