Cranberry-Blueberry sauce
Inspired by a love for cranberries and a passion for blueberries. I made
the sauce relatively thin; I served the berries as a relish for Thanksgiving
dinner, but am using the leftovers on my morning oatmeal.
Wash 1 12 ounce bag of cranberries, and set aside.
Add 1 cup of brown sugar to 2 cups of water (more or less sugar to taste) and
heat until boiling, stirring until dissolved.
Add cranberries and 1 16 ounce bag of frozen blueberries, and return mixture
to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes. Let cool and
and refrigerate.
Makes about 3 pints
