FATFREE FONDUE
4 cups stock
2/3 cups white wine or 1/4 cup cider or rice vinegar
2 lemon slices
2 large cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp minced gingerroot
2 tsp granulated sugar
Combine all ingredients in fondue pot, electric skillet or electric wok.
Just before serving, heat to simmer.
Some suggested veggies: broccoli, summer squash or zucchini, swiss chard or
romaine lettuce, sweet red or green pepper, mushrooms. Serve with rice.
Hot Chili Dipping Sauce:
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp lemon or lime juice
1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tsp granulate sugar
1/4 tsp hot pepper flakes
Combine all ingredients.
