Some of you might like cabbage. I happen to love cabbage. I got the following
from the net, but didn't save the header info.

Joanna's Cabbage
I have a delicious cabbage recipe, supposed to be a side but we eat it as a
main, its so nice.
)From memory:
Half-3/4 of a green cabbage.
cup of tomatoes. (I put in a little extra they're supposed to be peeled)
Tbsp sugar (brown)
pepper and salt (tsp)
3 tbsp wine vinegar (I use malt if I don't have wine)
1 large onion
Peel and slice onion, into the frypan with a little vinegar. Add the cabbage,
sliced up. Fry til the cabbage is just getting brown. Add sugar, wine vinegar,
toms, salt and pepper and simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Add more pepper to
taste. Serve.
I tell you, you'll be surprised at how nice it tastes. Its called Joannas
Cabbage and its from Alison Holsts Meals without Meat. All her recipes are
winners.
