12 ozs Chick Peas (Garbanzo), soaked overnight and drained
3 med sized Potatoes - peeled and cut into even sized chunks
2 Onions, sliced 1 Turnip, sliced
2 Carrots, sliced 2 Leeks, washed well and sliced
1 small Cabbage, quartered
At least 2 cloves of crushed Garlic, 1 tsp Paprika pepper
1 Bouquet Garni - 2 sprigs Parsley, a sprig of Thyme and a Bay leaf tied
together.
1 pint Veg. stock

Place the Chick peas in a large pan and cover with enough stock to
cover. Bring to the boil, then simmer until the chick peas are
*almost* tender (1 hour?).
Add the veggies, the bouquet Garni, the Paprika and some more of the
veg. stock if you think it's required.
Simmer for a further 30 minutes, remove the Bouquet Garni and serve.
Great in a bowl with a hunk of w/w bread
