Asparagus & Artichokes
1 can asparagus 1/4 cup sugar
8 1/2 oz. artichoke hearts, cut in half 1/4 cup water
1/3 cup wine vinegar 1/2 t. salt
2 cinnamon sticks 6 cloves
1/4 t. celery ? (sorry, can't read my own writing...seasoning or something)
Mix vinegar, sugar, water & seasonings- heat until sugar dissolves.
Marinate asparagus for 24 hrs., adding artichokes for last 12 hrs. Serve
cold- serves 4.
