Spaghetti Sauce
4 large cans whole tomatoes (food process if you want the sauce to
thicken faster)
2 large cans tomato sauce
2 cans tomato paste
2 tomato paste cans of water
1 large onion (food process until it's just goo)
1 clove garlic crushed or same amount of precrushed garlic
Crushed Red Peppers to taste
2 Tablespoons Basil
1-2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
Optional 1 tablespoon sugar (it does tend to take the *bite* out of
the tomatoes)
1 zuchinni diced
1 package fresh mushrooms sliced
Dried onion soup mix which has been rehydrated.
Use the onion soup mix to gently saute the mushrooms, zuchinni,
onions and garlic. Add the tomato products and water. When warm add
the seasoning. Keep on low to medium heat *forever*, o.k. it only
seems like forever, but at least for three-four hours. This sauce
will cook down and thicken. Serve with appropriate pasta noodles (or
whatever you have handy in the pantry).
