Potato Soup

6 Med Potatoes -- * see note
6 C Water
1 Tbsp Onion Powder -- * see note
1/8 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Bay Leaf
1 Stalk Celery -- diced, *see note
1 Tsp Salt -- optional
1/8 Tsp Pepper
1/8 tsp Dill Weed
dash Paprika
1 tsp Parsley -- dried
2 tbsp Flour
1/2 C Water
Place potatoes and 6 C water in large saucepan.
Add all seasonings.
Cook until very tender.
Remove 1/3 to 1/2 potatoes to a bowl and mash well.
Remove bay leaf and discard.
Return mashed potatoes to saucepan.
Heat and thicken with flour that has been mixed with 1/2 C water in a
covered jar, stirring constantly, until soup is desired consistency.
