i am attempting to make vegan waffles and not having too much
success. i would appreciate any help anyone could offer.
please note that these are _vegan_ which means that i do not
eat milk or eggs. the recipie i am using is the following:
2 cup flour (bread flour)
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbls. applesauce (replaces egg)
1 cup soy "milk" (replaces milk)
1 cup apple juice
i mix all the ingredients and place the appropriate amount in the
waffle iron for the appropriate. however, i end up with waffles
that do not cook in the center (the outside is done) and that have
a spoungy texture. could anyone please help? thank you very much.
