Kombu

I use Kombu in making beans, or bean soups.  I was told that it makes the beans more digestable, and have noticed that I am less gassy when I remember to throw it in.  I just put it in while cooking soup/beans and it kind of disintigrates.  I have never found pices of it to pick out.  

I don't even know what it tastes like by itself!
