thanks to all those who answered my question about colocasia
(taro/dasheen/etc...). no one said anything about nutritional information,
and i just don't have access to a large variety of health-oriented info/books
in cairo (at least that i've found so far). can someone help me with this?
i'm assuming that calorically and otherwise these vegetables are equivalent
or similar to potatoes and other root vegetables, but does anyone know for
sure?? i like to keep track of what i'm eating. i don't mean to go on and
on about a vegetable that most of you will never even see, so thanks again.
