Hi,
When my husband and I went backpacking I made a vegetarian
chili and dehydrated it. All you have to do is rehydrate and
boil some rice in those little bags and you have a hardy meal.
I also did this with sloppy joes and pea soup. I found any
meal that had some thickness in the liquid could be dehydrated,
even spaghetti sauce. Boy I wish I was going, that happens to
be one of my adventures to do. Off the subject a little but
did you happen to see the 1st of episode of Anyplace Wild? It
was about the boundary waters and the scenery was beautiful.
