Tiffany asked about places to eat veggie or veg-friendly in DC. She is in
luck, since we have a wonderful subway system here that will get her to some of
the best places for veg-friendly eating. My personal favorite, The Vegetable
Garden, was judged one of the best 10 Vegetarian Restaurants in the USA by Self
magazine in the August '93 issue. It is right at the White Flint Metro stop
and very reasonably priced. Address: 11618 Rockville Pike, Rockville. Phone:

There is also the Red Sage, located right in DC. It is on 14th Street , off of
the Metro Center exit. Address: 605 14th Street Phone: (202) 638-4444 - a
little pricey.
Also, some places I know of but don't phone numbers or exact addresses: The
Bombay Club - pricey, Georgia Brown's, also pricey, Oodles of Noodles, moderate
price and all of these are veg-friendly. Enjoy your stay!
