asparagus

The one thing I make over and over in spring is fresh asparagus with 
balsamic vinegar.  It is so easy and delicious:

Steam a pound of pencil-thin asparagus until just tender crisp.  Add 
three tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and sprinkle  with garlic salt.    
No one who tries this can believe it is that simple.
