Susan,
In general the more highly processed the food, the harder it is to
un-process it for digestion. Try introducing, some very very well cooked
light lentils, mixed with cooked carrots/rice etc. To judge the
digestibility of a lentil, look for the lightest colors and virtually
translucent type. A teeny pinch of turmeric will make it easier to
digest.
