Kristin, i have used regular popcorn for years and see no difference in it's
texture flavour or anything else whren I pop it in the microwave. We have
used plastic containers ( the hot kernals can distort it unless it is
plastic made to resist the heat). There are plastic containers on the market
for popping it. We have used a paper bag. Put the kernals in the bag, insert
bag in the microwave and run it for a coup;e of minutes. The thing to watch
out for is the kernals getting so hot that they burn. Ypu have to try a few
tiimes to see how long it takes to pop in your particular microwave. Ron
