Jenny,
Egg Beaters are a liquid egg replacement sold in cartons, and resemble beaten eggs. (They are mostly egg white with fillers and yellow colouring.)
A recipe calling for 1/2 cup egg beaters really requires 2 large eggs.
If you want to use your powder, mix 2 tsps with 4 Tbsps water to substitute. Another alternative would be to use 4 egg whites, although for some recipes (particularly in baking), they can toughen the end result.
